About Us
Maryland's Trusted Electrical Contractor
Hartman Electric LLC was formed in 2004. The first few years, the company consisted of Nathan on his own — shortly thereafter a helper was hired, and a part-time bookkeeper who worked out of his garage in the evenings. Since then, Hartman Electric has steadily grown into a company with a full-time office staff, a service manager, a full-time office administrator, and 20+ employees.
We have grown in size and in scope from a small residential electrical service company to having multiple large-scale projects running simultaneously. This growth has been possible due to the incredible employees we have gained over the past 20 years — from our estimating team that wins larger projects, to dedicated project managers who keep jobs under budget, to installers who exceed industry standards in efficiency and safety.
The residential work we perform ranges from small service calls to multifamily dwellings of over 100 units. We have contracts with various fire and water mitigation companies that steadily rely on us for large and small projects, as well as 24-hour emergency service.
